Anglican Diocese Of Dar Es Salaam welcomes you!
The Diosece of Dar Es Salaam was established on 10 July 1965. It occupies an area of 18,600 sq km. It covers the Dar es Salaam and Coast regions. Although not officially the capital, that attribute is held by Dodoma, Dar es Salaam is very much the cultural and business capital of the country. St Albans is the Cathedral Church of the Diocese
We are a traditional Anglican Diocese, seeking to be faithful to God's calling in Jesus Christ.
Our Diocese is Spiritually Active:
The power and work of the Holy Spirit underlies the activity of our
ministry to one another, in the life of the Diocese and in our outreach
to the world around us.
Our Diocese is People Oriented:
We seek to encourage and assist individuals and families in the
difficult process of living together in a world that seems to be falling
apart. As a Church, we desire to become a spiritual family, where we
enjoy working out our Christian faith together. Seeking His will
through His revealed Word, the Holy Sacraments in context of the
traditional apostolic faith and practice.
We believe that you will experience our Lord in our services and His
love in our Diocese and our people.
Our Diocese is Christ Centered:
We are involved in, Evangelism, Church Planting and Outreach. We are working to cement various ministries at the Diocesan and Parish level. We are engaged in discipleship and stewardship programs.
Come worship in any of our Churches and you will be blessed!
Our community reaches out to the needy to give aid and comfort. Food and clothing drives, helping the elderly, and repairing local homeless shelters and schools are just a small part of what we do.
If you know a group that could use our help, drop us a line.
