 The Diosece of Dar Es Salaam was established on 10 July 1965. It occupies an area of 18,600 sq km. It covers the Dar es Salaam and Coast regions. Although not officially the capital, that attribute is held by Dodoma, Dar es Salaam is very much the cultural and business capital of the country. Community Activities
Our community reaches out to the needy to give aid and comfort. Food and clothing drives, helping the elderly, and repairing local homeless shelters and schools are just a small part of what we do.
